Lillian I. Davis, 81, of Kansas City died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at Armour Home in Kansas City. She was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Joseph and Rose E. Wicker Smith. She and Gus M. Davis were married Oct. 28, 1935, in Waterloo, Ill. He died March 13, 1976...

Lillian I. Davis, 81, of Kansas City died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at Armour Home in Kansas City.

She was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Joseph and Rose E. Wicker Smith. She and Gus M. Davis were married Oct. 28, 1935, in Waterloo, Ill. He died March 13, 1976.

Davis had lived in Kansas City since 1977, and was a member of Armour Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Davis of Kansas City; a daughter, June Patterson of Plainsville, Ind.; two sisters, Dorothy Dickinson and Norena Middleton of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
