ZALMA -- Earl L. Dunn, 71, of Zalma died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff. He was born Aug. 12, 1926, at Gipsy, son of Leonard A. and Thelma Leo Cullins Dunn. ZALMA -- Earl L. Dunn, 71, of Zalma died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Aug. 12, 1926, at Gipsy, son of Leonard A. and Thelma Leo Cullins Dunn.

Dunn retired as owner of an oil drilling company in California. He was a member of Zalma Masonic Lodge 545 AF&AM.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra Williams of North Carolina; two sisters, Barbara Whitehead of Jackson, Donna Bollinger of Marble Hill; and a grandson.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
