JACKSON -- Glenn Emil Ervin, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Dec. 8, 1997, at Heritage Garden.

He was born March 16, 1910, at Egypt Mills, son of Benjamin Edgar and Ora Bell Koeppel Ervin. He and Alma May Heise were married July 29, 1931, in Cape Girardeau.

Ervin attended Egypt Mills School. He was a farmer and carpenter, and member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills.

Survivors include his wife.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
