LILLIE RANDOLPH

ADVANCE -- Lillie Randolph, 83, of Zalma, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born June 22, 1907 in Zalma, daughter of William and Siota Arthur Pittman.

She married Alva Randolph on July 23, 1924 at Zalma. He preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1992.

She was owner/operator of the Randolph Restaurant in Zalma 22 years. She attended the Berrong Church in Gipsy.

Survivors include sons, Avery Randolph of Wood River, Ill., Dale Randolph and Doyle Randolph, both of Advance; a daughter, Ruby Cavener of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Willard Pittman of Zalma and Grover Pittman of Bethalto, Ill.; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and four sisters.

Service was scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Rudy Pittman officiating. Interment was at Berrong Cemetery.
