LULA SACHSE

JACKSON -- Lula Sachse, 90, of Jackson died Friday, Jan. 10, 1997, at Jackson Manor.

She was born Oct. 24, 1906, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Conrad and Frances Crites. She and Henry A. Sachse were married April 23, 1927. He died Oct. 25, 1995.

Sachse was an inspector in the packing department at International Shoe Co. 27 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ and its senior group, Jackson Senior Citizens, and West Side Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Susan Kane and Karen Ibe of Diamond Bar, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
