DESSIE PEPPLE

CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Dessie M. Pepple of Chaffee will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Nancy Woods will officiate, with burial in Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.

Pepple, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 29, 1905, in Wynne, Ark., daughter of Walter and Nora Taylor Holt She and David K. Pepple were married Aug. 12, 1924. He died June 11, 1933. She later married John A. Gray March 15, 1938. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, David Pepple of Chaffee; two sisters, Bertha Holt of Grants Pass, Ore., Jewell Young of Waterford, Mich.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
