WINNIE SHIVERDECK

GRASSY -- Winnie H. Shiverdeck, 86, of Grassy died Monday, Feb. 3, 1997, at her home.

She was born July 10, 1910, near Greenville, daughter of G.L. and Myrtle Pigg Talley. She and Abner Shiverdeck were married May 4, 1934.

Shiverdeck attended Friendship General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; six sons, George Shiverdeck of Lebanon, Mo., Joe Shiverdeck of Iberia, Bill Shiverdeck of Imperial, Leland Shiverdeck of Grassy, Charles Shiverdeck of Festus, Carl Shiverdeck of Cahokia, Ill.; two daughters, Nina Eichelberger of Affton, Ruth Shiverdeck of Grassy; a sister, Mary Robison of St. Louis; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters, two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Church, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Community Cemetery.
