DELIA UTLEY

Funeral service for Delia L. Utley of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. The Rev. Dwain Hobbs will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Utley, 85, died Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born April 9, 1911, in Caddo, Okla., daughter of John Lewis and Nora Callie Stone Eastwood. She and Bruce Utley were married Dec. 27, 1937, in Brian County, Okla. He died in November 1974.

Utley lived most of her life in Dennison, Texas, moving to Cape Girardeau in 1994. She was a member of High Park Presbyterian Church and Senior Citizens in Dennison.

Survivors include a son, Bruce Utley of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
