Stephen Paul Deck, 43, of Beaumont, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997, in Beaumont, following a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 11, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Paul V. and Normagene Mercer Deck. Deck was a graduate of Central High School, and attended Metro Business College. Stephen Paul Deck, 43, of Beaumont, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997, in Beaumont, following a lengthy illness.

He was born Sept. 11, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Paul V. and Normagene Mercer Deck.

Deck was a graduate of Central High School, and attended Metro Business College. He was most recently employed at Conn's Appliance Center in Beaumont.

Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Terry Deck of Vicksburg, Miss.; two sisters, Karen Clingingsmith of Terre Haute, Ind., and Judy Wilson of Arkadelphia, Ark.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, with Hal Green officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.
