ANNA, Ill. -- Larry Daniel "Cookie" Rojas, 17, of Anna, Ill., died Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Marion Memorial Hospital following an auto accident. He was born Nov. 19, 1979, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Santiago and Karen Davidson Rojas. He was a senior at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School where he was a member of the wrestling and baseball teams. ANNA, Ill. -- Larry Daniel "Cookie" Rojas, 17, of Anna, Ill., died Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Marion Memorial Hospital following an auto accident.

He was born Nov. 19, 1979, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Santiago and Karen Davidson Rojas. He was a senior at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School where he was a member of the wrestling and baseball teams. He was a member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church and worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Anna.

He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Angela Rojas and Anita Lucatero, both of Anna; and grandparents, Harry and Afton Davidson of Anna and Aurora Ortiz of Cheran, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today, and on Tuesday until time of service, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Hertenstein officiating. Burial will be in the Anna Cemetery.
