EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Janet Grogan of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. Ed Jolley will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Grogan, 38, died Wednesday, March 12, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 1, 1958, in Odessa, Texas, daughter of Milton Lee "Mutt" and Bessie Marie Brown Grogan.

Grogan had lived in Mississippi County the past 28 years.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Jordan; a daughter, Rebel Grogan; her parents; a brother, Gary Grogan, all of East Prairie; and fiancee, Kerry Gunter.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
