EAST PRAIRIE -- Paul F. Schneider, 84, of East Prairie died Monday, March 17, 1997, at his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1912, in New Madrid County to George and Flora Ann Duffey Schneider. He had lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was a farmer until he retired in 1965. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie.

He married Margaret Emory on May 5, 1940. She survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Paula Scott of Danville, Ky., and Pam Williams of East Prairie; four sisters, Marie Greer and Margie Hopgood, both of East Prairie, Cora Lee McMinn of Charleston and Fern Cobb of Sikeston; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. George White and Robert Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
