PERRYVILLE -- Harry J. Leible Sr., 70, of Perryville died Sunday, March 16, 1997, at his home.
He was born Aug. 17, 1926, at Perryville, son of Fred and Albertine Schnurbusch Leible. He and Margaret Regelsperger were married June 10, 1947.
Leible had been co-owner of Leible Service Station and a construction worker. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; 10 children, Nancy Geiler, Wayne, David, Harry, Lynn and Steven Leible, Tina Berkbuegler, all of Perryville, Barbara Rivenburgh of Arnold, Terry Leible of Imperial, Peggy Gann of Springfield; a brother, Paul Leible of St. Louis; 21 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight, followed at 7:15 by a VFW service.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
