JACKSON -- Leona Mary Brown, 74, of Jackson died Monday, March 17, 1997, at her home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Gordonville, daughter of Leo and Myrtle Mary Strong Brugger. She and Hobert Brown were married July 26, 1941. He died Feb. 16, 1984.
Brown had worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and the former Jackson Dress Factory. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Caroline Brown of Jackson; two sisters, Edna Harris of Jackson, and Ann Schremp of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and five brothers.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
