EUNICE HENCY

BENTON -- Funeral service for Eunice Marie Hency, Benton Route 1, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Morley Church of God in Morley. The Revs. Warren Hency and Trish Eskew will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Benton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Hency, 84, died Monday, March 17, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 10, 1913, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of Joe and Bertha Miller Kirby. She and John Herbert Hency were married Nov. 20, 1933, in Sikeston. He died June 30, 1981.

Hency was a member of Morley Church of God.

Survivors include two sons, James Hency of Springdale, Ark., Paul Hency of Niles, Mich.; a daughter, Marie Robert of Benton; two brothers, John Kirby of Milan, Ill., Wilburn Kirby of Illinois; a sister, Letha Livingston of Bell City; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters, and two grandchildren.
