HERMAN KINDRED
SIKESTON -- Herman E. Kindred, 84, formerly of Sikeston, died Thursday, March 20, 1997, at Troy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Scott County, son of William and Minnie Poole Kindred. He and Charlene Gardner were married Sept. 15, 1934. She died March 12, 1994...SIKESTON -- Herman E. He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Scott County, son of William and Minnie Poole Kindred. He and Charlene Gardner were married Sept. 15, 1934. She died March 12, 1994.
Kindred retired as a machinist with Century Electric.

Survivors include a son, Herman Kindred Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Carroll Woehler of Troy; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.
