The infant, son of William J. Oakes Jr. and Sharai Corder of Sikeston, was stillborn Wednesday, March 19, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents, Gary Corder and Linda Patrick of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, William Jerry and Theresa Oakes Sr. of Morehouse; and maternal great-grandparents, Mary Merritt of Sikeston and Ernest and Nellie Corder of St. Louis.
