BLOOMFIELD -- Woodrow T. Williams, 84, of Bloomfield died Thursday, March 20, 1997, at the Bloomfield Nursing Center.

He was born July 20, 1912, at Bloomfield, the son of E.J. and Melissa Ezzell Williams.

He married Velma Link. She died on June 24, 1971. On Dec. 8, 1991, he married Opal Taylor.

He lived in Bloomfield all his life. He was a farmer. He retired in 1976 from Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield, where he was employed as a shipping clerk.

He was a lifelong member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Stanley Williams of Topeka, Kan.; four daughters, Ellen Inghrim of Danville, Calif., Mary Hawkins of Kirkwood, Kathy Gardiner of Bellview, Ill., and Ann Williams of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, May Sue Craft of Vicksburg, Miss.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Hank Foster will officiate, with burial in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
