PERRYVILLE -- Paul V. Mattingly, 53, of Aurora, Ill., died Saturday, March 22, 1997, in Aurora.

He was born Oct. 17, 1943, at Perryville, son of Robert and Stella Marie Lawrence Mattingly. He and Mona Grace Hall were married Aug. 24, 1967.

Mattingly was a former steel foundry worker.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Scott Mattingly of Scott City, Phil Mattingly of Aurora; two daughters, Tracy Helton of Loudon, Tenn., Carla Mattingly of Illinois; his parents of Brewer; two brothers, Vernon "Pat" and Robert Mattingly of Brewer; five sisters, Joan Naeger of Ste. Genevieve, June Cox of California, Wanda Figge of Pevely, Diane Fenwick of Brewer, Marilyn Owens of Cuba, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. today.

Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
