MILDRED JONES

CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Mildred Jones, formerly of Charleston, will be held at 11 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Carl Cox will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.

Jones, 75, died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Nov. 27, 1921, at Parma, daughter of Andrew Jackson and Opal May Drake Boyt. She and Clyde Wright were married in 1941. He died in 1970. She later married Carley Jones Feb. 20, 1972. He died in 1974.

Jones moved to Charleston in 1952. She worked at Young's Cleaners 25 years, and was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include a niece, Sharon Fedric of El Dorado, Ark.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
