HERMAN SCHNAARE

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Funeral service for Herman Carl Schnaare of Villa Ridge will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted. The Rev. Carl Miller will officiate, with burial in Concord Cemetery near Olmsted.

Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to service time.

Jones Funeral Home at Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

Schnaare, 85, died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at his home.

He was born Jan. 8, 1912, in rural Villa Ridge, son of Walter P. and Louise Dick Schnaare.

Schnaare retired as a maintenance worker with Illinois Department of Transportation. He was a member of St. Luke's Church.

Survivors include cousins, and friends Raymond and Debbie Minor with whom he had resided.
