SUZANNE SMITH

KELSO -- Suzanne L. "Louise" Smith, 46, of Kelso died Tuesday, March 25, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 7, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Dewey and Leona Meyer Shaw.

Smith was a 1969 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and attended Metro Business College.

She had been a secretary at St. Vincent's Catholic School in Cape Girardeau for seven years. Prior to that she was a secretary at First Financial Bank of Sikeston three years, and had also worked at Finch law firm.

Smith was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, but attended St. Vincent's Church.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Smith of Kelso, Corp. Danny Smith of New Rivers Marine Base in Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter, Jennifer Smith of Kelso; her mother of Cape Girardeau; a brother, John Shaw of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Janice Stratton and Mary Keller of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-9 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Apple Creek.
