ANNA, Ill. -- Anna M. Rion, 90, of Anna died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at City Care Center. She was born Sept. 16, 1906, in Johnson County, daughter of Asa B. and Armada Farmer Harris. She and Lonnie Dow Rion were married June 10, 1923, at New Madrid. He died Nov. 30, 1944...

ANNA, Ill. -- Anna M. Rion, 90, of Anna died Wednesday, March 26, 1997, at City Care Center.

She was born Sept. 16, 1906, in Johnson County, daughter of Asa B. and Armada Farmer Harris. She and Lonnie Dow Rion were married June 10, 1923, at New Madrid. He died Nov. 30, 1944.

Rion was a member of Ebenezer Hall Presbyterian Church near Lick Creek, and member of Union Chapter Order of Eastern Star 1024.

Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Sullivan of Buncombe, Juanita Briggs of Anna; a son, Don Rion of Anna; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
