ADVANCE -- Nora Mae Nash died Saturday, March 29, 1997, at the Advance Nursing Center. She was 97 years old.

She was born March 9, 1900, in Brownwood, Mo., daughter of the late Fred F. and Effie C. Stroder Nash. She was an employee of Bemis Bag Company in St. Louis before retiring.

She is survived by three sisters, Myrtle Cobb and Irene Masters, both of Herrin, Ill., and Ivy Arendale of Hensley, Ark.; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel, the Rev. Ralph Swarthout officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Point Cemetery near Advance.
