WYATT -- Theodore R. Heard, 92, of Wyatt died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 15, 1905, in Jasper County, Miss., son of Williams and Sally Pickens Heard. He and Armen Dale were married Dec. 14, 1932.

Heard moved to Missouri three years ago from Hattiesburg, Miss. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg and its steward board.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Preston Heard of Wyatt; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Leona Methodist Church in Heidelberg, Miss. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
