OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. - Norman L. Bauer, 58, of Olive Branch died Friday, May 16, 1997 at his home.

He was born Oct. 29, 1938 at Miller City, Ill., the son of Earl and Florence Martin Bauer.

Bauer was retired from the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo.

Survivors include his parents of Olive Branch; a son Joseph Bauer, of East Missoula, Mont.; two daughters, Teri Pearce and Tina Freeman of Rapid City, S.D.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday with Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
