JACKSON -- Grace Lucille Overbeck, 85, of Fenton died Sunday, May 18, 1997, at her home. She was born Jan. 21, 1912, at Jackson, daughter of William and Ella Johnson Lowes. She and Harlan Overbeck were married April 21, 1931, at Benton. Overbeck worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, and was an inspector at Lowenbaum Dress Factory from 1940-77. JACKSON -- Grace Lucille Overbeck, 85, of Fenton died Sunday, May 18, 1997, at her home.

She was born Jan. 21, 1912, at Jackson, daughter of William and Ella Johnson Lowes. She and Harlan Overbeck were married April 21, 1931, at Benton.

Overbeck worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, and was an inspector at Lowenbaum Dress Factory from 1940-77. She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ann Larkin of Fenton, Peggy Overbeck of Garland, Texas; a sister, Helen Penrose of Jackson; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Lohse officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
