SIKESTON -- Harry Lee Robinett, 79, of Sikeston died Friday, June 6, 1997, at his home.

He was born May 30, 1918, in Couch, son of Arthur and Allie Jobe Robinett. He was a farmer and served in the Army in World War II.

On Sept. 15, 1943, he married Iris Lynxwiler in Sikeston. She survives.

Other survivors are a son, Gary Robinett of Charleston, Ill.; three brothers, Don Robinett of Dexter, Charlie Robinett of Bloomfield and Wayne Robinett of Jackson; three sisters, Sylvia Greer of Evansville, Ind., Leatha Woodruff of Bloomfield and Reatha Putnam of Dexter; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Woodrow Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
