LOGAN TAYLOR

ANNA, Ill. -- Logan Taylor, 79, of Anna, Ill., died Friday, June 6, 1997, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born April 8, 1918, at Anna, the son of Delbert and Nancy Tolbert Taylor. He and Anna Tolbert in 1938 in Scott City. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1985.

Survivors include three sons, Harry D. Taylor and Alfred R. Taylor, both of Anna, and Logan L. Taylor of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; a sister, Myrtle Dirden of Carbondale; a brother, Delbert Taylor of Mesquite, Texas; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; six children, two sisters, a granddaughter and a grandson.

Taylor attended the Anna Church of the Nazarene and was a veteran of World War II.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Vandergraph will officiate, with burial in the Anna Cemetery with honors.
