NORA PRUITT

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Nora E. Pruitt of St. James was held Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Larry Morris and Dan Richardson officiated, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pruitt, 90, died Saturday, June 7, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 8, 1906, daughter of Henry and Eda Breuer Diestelkamp. She and Francis Edmund Pruitt were married Oct. 10, 1923. He died March 3, 1988.

Pruitt had lived in the St. Louis area many years. She was a kitchen supervisor at a Missouri Veterans Home 20 years.

Survivors include a son, Bill Pruitt of Sikeston; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.
