BENTON -- Funeral service for Myrtie V. Tate of Osceola, Ark., will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville, Ark. Burial will be in Mississippi County Memorial Garden in Osceola.

Tate, 87, died Monday, July 14, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born in Wair, Miss. She married Lebern C. Tate, who preceded her in death.

Tate was a retired licensed practical nurse, and member of the Church of God in Osceola.

Survivors include a daughter, Loretta Marshall of Benton; two sons, Julian Tate of Tulsa, Okla., Jerell Tate of Luxora, Ark.; a brother, Estel Qualls of Blytheville; a sister, Nola Clark of Luxora; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
