EAST PRAIRIE -- Graveside service for Charles Thomas Niemeyer of Granite City, Ill., will be held at 3 p.m. today at Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie. Pastor Larry Smith will officiate.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.

Niemeyer, 40, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, in St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis County.

He was born March 10, 1957, in St. Louis, son of Kenneth and Glenda Niemeyer.

Niemeyer was employed at St. Louis Marriott Hotel.

Survivors include his father of Syracuse, N.Y.; his mother, Glenda Morelock of Granite City; three brothers, Robert Niemeyer and Joseph Morelock of Granite City, David Niemeyer of Lebanon, Tenn.; four sisters, Tracy Hamilton and Jackie Morelock of Granite City, Angela and Karen Niemeyer of Syracuse.
