PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Wilbert A. Hopfer of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30-8:30 a.m. today.

Hopfer, 81, died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 18, 1916, at Uniontown, son of Arno and Josephine Unterreiner Hopfer. He and Wilma Grossheider were married Aug. 21, 1949.

Hopfer had worked at Perry Crating. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, and a son, Larry Hopfer of Perryville.
