SIKESTON -- Funeral services for Kenneth D. Stahl will be at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with the Rev. Ken Cook officiating. Mr. Stahl, 60, of Arnold and formerly of Charter Oak, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, at St. John's Skilled Nursing Center in Creve Coeur.

He was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Piggott, Ark., the son of Thomas Elmer and Molly Ophelia Vaden Stahl. On Oct. 4, 1959, he married Velma Jean Campbell in Dexter.

He graduated from Canalou High School in 1956.

He worked for Union Pacific Motor Freight Railroad Company in St. Louis. He previously drove a truck for Campbell 66 Trucking Co. for 25 years. He formerly worked at Malone and Hyde.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Kim Bruce of Fenton, Susan McGraw of Barnhart and Tara Stahl of the home in Arnold; three sisters, Valasta Elders of Campbell, Verline Baker of Okawville, Ill., and Wanda Asher of Malden; and four grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
