Kanchan K. Rohatgi, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997, at his home.
He was born in Delhi, India, to Krishen Das and Ram Dulari Rohatgi. He and Dr. Reeta Rohatgi were married Jan. 29, 1975, in New Delhi, India. She survives.
Rohatgi was a graduate of Jamshedpur College of Engineering in Orissa, India. In 1976 he moved to Chicago, Ill., and worked as a graduate engineer. In 1987 he moved to Cape Girardeau and was employed in the investment business.
Survivors include two sons, Gautum Rohatgi of Des Moines, Iowa, and Ram Kevin Rohatgi of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Radha Rohatgi of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Ramesh C. Rohatgi of New Delhi, India, and Chunni Lal Rohatgi of Nagda, India; and two sisters, Sarla Chaudhari of Cape Girardeau and Romola Gupta of Kota, India.
Visitation will be from 3 - 3:45 p.m., today, at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. A private funeral service will be held.
