PAUL EFTINK
ORAN -- Paul J. Eftink, 78, Oran Route 1, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, at his home. He was born Oct. 2, 1918, at Portageville, son of John and Elizabeth Elfrink Eftink. He and Marie Trankler were married Nov. 12, 1940. Eftink was a retired farmer. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church...ORAN -- Paul J. Eftink was a retired farmer. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Eugene and John Eftink of Chaffee, Mark Eftink of Oran; two daughters, Marilyn Koch of Chaffee, Carolyn Landewee of Oran; three brothers, Henry Eftink of Oran, George Eftink of Chaffee, Andrew Eftink of Portageville; two sisters, Emma Gaines of Oran, Mary Klipfel of Portageville; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7, and KC prayers at 7:30.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Guardian Angel Church, with Msgr. Ed Eftink officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
