ADVANCE -- Leonard Myrle Daniel, 81, of Advance, died Friday, Aug. 15, 1997, at his home.

He was born Feb. 26, 1916, in Advance, son of John Cooper and Mabel Lucille Weatherman Daniel. He and Hazel Francis were married March 7, 1936, at Jackson.

Daniel was a retired farmer, and member of New Hope General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mary Johnson of Painton, Brenda Fogarty of Mohave Valley, Ariz., Irene Lizenbee of Advance; a brother, Cletis Daniel of Advance; a sister, Aileen Tropf of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, sister, two grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tony Badami and Wayne Page officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
