JONESBORO, Ill. -- Jimmy Lewis Haney, 58, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Aug. 4, 1939, at Dexter, son of Herbert Lewis and Lucille Harget Haney. He and Wanda Jean Perry were married Jan. 7, 1961, in Cobden.

Haney was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael Haney of Ocala, Fla., Jimmy Haney of Anna; a daughter, Lori Daniels of Ocala; three sisters, Mary Moore of Bloomfield, Lois James and Joyce Haney of Bernie; three brothers, Larry, Gary and Donald Haney of Cobden; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 10 a.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Austin Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
