MOUNDS, Ill. -- William S. Bucher, 75, of Flint, Mich., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint.

He was born Nov. 24, 1921, in Mounds, son of Louie and Lena Biessingert Bucher.

Bucher was a retired salesman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include three brothers, Paul Bucher of Chicago, Victor Bucher of Evansville, Ind., James Bucher of Creal Springs; and a sister, Mary Lou Adams of Anna.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge after 10 a.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William McGhee officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Mounds.
