JACKSON -- Earl L. Marston, 77, of Jackson died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Kansas City, son of Earl and Marian Namysol Marston. He and Victoria Sorensen were married Sept. 12, 1942...

JACKSON -- Earl L. Marston, 77, of Jackson died Monday, Oct. 20, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Kansas City, son of Earl and Marian Namysol Marston. He and Victoria Sorensen were married Sept. 12, 1942.

Marston was a truck driver and then dispatcher many years with Grane Trucking Co. of Chicago. He retired in 1985 and moved to Jackson. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Jackson.

Survivors include three sons, Glen Marston of Albany, Ill., Kenneth Marston of Scott City, Gregory Marston of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Marian Kyriakopulas of Chicago.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
