BARNEY MIEDERHOFF

MALDEN -- Funeral service for Barney Miederhoff of Malden was held Oct. 2 at Bradshaw Funeral Home. The Rev. Glenn Eftink officiated, with burial in St. Denis Cemetery at Benton.

Miederhoff, 98, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Sept. 27, 1899, at New Hamburg, son of Casper and Mary Kilhafner Miederhoff. He and Christine Deinken were married Aug. 25, 1925, at Benton. She died in 1962.

Miederhoff had been an automobile mechanic. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church at Malden, and Knights of Columbus at Portageville.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Miederhoff of Malden; a son, A.J. "Barney" Miederhoff of Sikeston; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
