SCOTT CITY -- Nellie Mae Miller, 87, of Scott City died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 7, 1910, at Benton, daughter of Joseph and Ida Halter Glueck. She and Weldon Charles Miller were married Nov. 10, 1931, at Kelso. He died Oct. 28, 1972...

SCOTT CITY -- Nellie Mae Miller, 87, of Scott City died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 7, 1910, at Benton, daughter of Joseph and Ida Halter Glueck. She and Weldon Charles Miller were married Nov. 10, 1931, at Kelso. He died Oct. 28, 1972.

Miller was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include six sons, Robert Miller of Washington, Mo., Charles Miller of Kelso, Maurice and Michael Miller of Scott City, Donald Miller of Pine Bluff, Ark., James Miller of Sikeston; a daughter, Mary Miller of St. Peters; a brother, Charlie Glueck of Jackson; a sister, Anna Hadley of Dexter; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at St. Joseph Church after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Pat Wissman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
