MABEL KARRAKER

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Mabel Karraker, 96, of Dongola died Sunday, Dec. 31, 1995, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born April 12, 1899, in Jonesboro, Ill., daughter of Isaac and Alice Williams Sullivan.

She married Charles Karraker on Sept. 25, 1915. He preceded her in death June 11, 1991.

She was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Lowell Karraker of Dongola and Richard Karraker of Fairview Heights, Ill.; two daughters, Marcella Kelley of Metropolis, Ill., and Patricia Frye of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Dorothy Childers of Cairo, Ill.; a brother, Paul Sullivan of Corydon, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with Daryl Busby officiating. Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation was held at the funeral home Monday.
