OLMSTED, Ill. -- Charles G. Woods Jr., 61, of Olmsted, died Friday, Jan. 12, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. OLMSTED, Ill. -- Charles G. Woods Jr., 61, of Olmsted, died Friday, Jan. 12, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born Feb. 13, 1934, in Cairo, son of Charles and Margaret Pitcher Woods Sr.
Woods had been a truck driver for Lowell Carter Oil Co. in Cairo. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in East Prairie, Mo.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Marilyn Fair of Kansas City.
His wife, Alberta "Begey" Lane, died in May 1995.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Matthew Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.
