JACKSON -- Funeral service for Treston H. "Tex" Werner of Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today...

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Treston H. "Tex" Werner of Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Werner, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 5, 1911, in St. Louis, son of Daniel and Julia Mertens Werner. He and Ruby Milster were married Feb. 26, 1942.

Werner was a retired airline maintenance worker. He was a member of Airlines Local 1487.

He is survived by his wife.
