DONALD HURST

BLODGETT -- A memorial service for Donald Hurst will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Lee Fansler will officiate, with burial in Blodgett Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.

Hurst, 65, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born June 18, 1930, in Knob Lick, son of Charles and Hazel Hurst. He and Ruby Ann Riley were married Oct. 23, 1969.

Hurst was a member of Teamsters Local in Cape Girardeau. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deania Ward and Alana Cook of Blodgett; three brothers, John, Harry and Paul Hurst of Farmington; five sisters, Freda Cook, Beatrice Moran, Rosemary White, Irene White and Donna Comstock, all of Farmington, and a grandson.
