LILLIE LONG

PUXICO -- Funeral service for Lillie Pearl Long of Puxico will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, with the Rev. Gary Green officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Long, 91, died Monday, March 4, 1996, at Pine Lawn Residential Care II.

She was born Sept. 27, 1904, in Benton, daughter of John and Nora Hopper McIntosh. She and J.M. Long were married Jan. 16, 1932, in Bell City. He died March 1, 1982.

Formerly of Sikeston, she had lived in Puxico since 1965. She was a member of Life Chapel Assembly of God Church here.

Survivors include two daughters, Effie Smith of Delta, Dorothy Licona of El Paso, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, three brothers and five sisters.
