FROHNA -- Elmer Paul Schoenherr, 85, of Frohna, formerly of Lewiston, N.Y., died Monday at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. FROHNA -- Elmer Paul Schoenherr, 85, of Frohna, formerly of Lewiston, N.Y., died Monday at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born Sept. 29, 1910, in Ottawa, Canada, son of Frederic Wilhelm and Minna Kusch Schoenherr.

He was a retired machine operator for Kimberly Clark Corp., and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Boyer Schoenherr, whom he married Feb. 18., 1936.

Also surviving are three sons, Roger Schoenherr of Yuma, Ariz., Ronald Schoenherr of Romona, Calif., and Daniel Schoenherr of Frohna; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Berkley; two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel. Burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Church Cemetery at Frohna.
