DELTA -- Thelma B. Fowler, 83, of Delta died Saturday, March 9, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 28, 1912, at Dongola to A.B. Watson and Lillie Anderson. On Aug. 27, 1929, at Advance she married Virgil D. Fowler. He died March 9, 1994.
Survivors are two sons, A.J. Fowler of Scott City and Ronald Fowler of Delta; three sisters, Trudy Tate and Charlotte Proffer, both of Cape Girardeau, and Berniece Sneed of Marble Hill; a granddaughter whom she raised, Donna Williams of Whitewater; 13 other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, a grandson and a great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. David Pringle and Bradley Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Dongola Cemetery.
