JACKSON -- Rachelle Ali, 42, of Jackson, died Monday, March 11, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 4, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Paul and Virginia Ehlers DuSablon. She married Syed Ali. JACKSON -- Rachelle Ali, 42, of Jackson, died Monday, March 11, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 4, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Paul and Virginia Ehlers DuSablon. She married Syed Ali.

Ali was a graduate of Sikeston High School in Sikeston and St. Paul Junior College in Concordia.

She was an assistant registrar at Webster University in St. Louis from 1983-93.

Survivors include a daughter, Claira Ford of Kendallville, Ind.; two sons, Robert Ford of Fort Carson, Colo., Ryan Ford of Kendallville; her mother of Jackson; a sister, Yvonne Mitkos of Staunton, Ill.; two brothers, Paul DuSablon of St. Louis, Arthur DuSablon of Carmi, Ill., and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Maynard, Iowa. Dr. Leslie Mitkos will officiate, with burial in Long Grove Cemetery in Fayette County, Iowa.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of local arrangements.
